Echoes of Desolation

In shadows deep, where sorrow thrives,
A soul trapped in despair's cold dives.
With heavy heart, burdened and worn,
I pen a tale of a spirit torn.

Oh, melancholy's whispered song,
Resounds within, so deep and long.
A desolate symphony, hauntingly clear,
Echoing woes that none can hear.

Through barren fields of wilted dreams,
Aching silence, nothingness it seems.
A tattered cloak of despair I wear,
Seeking solace in this world unfair.

Emotion's tempest, a raging sea,
Consumes my spirit, drowning me.
Dark clouds suffocate the azure sky,
As tears fall, a lachrymose cry.

No respite found in morning's light,
Only shadows that haunt the night.
The weight of sadness, a constant bane,
An endless struggle, a futile game.

Friends and loved ones lend a hand,
But fail to grasp this sorrow's land.
Isolation lingers, an unwelcome guest,
A lonely heart pounding in my chest.

Lost in the labyrinth of my own mind,
Yearning for solace, elusive to find.
Like fragile glass, my shattered soul,
Pieces scattered, beyond control.

A haunting dance with a bleak abyss,
Where hope dissolves, fading amiss.
Every breath a burden to bear,
In this world of desolation and despair.

Yet, through the cracks, a flicker gleams,
A tiny ember, where hope redeems.
With fragile strength, I rise once more,
Seeking light behind depression's door.

Though tears may fall and darkness weigh,
I'll fight the demons that hold sway.
For in my heart, a flame still burns,
A testament to the love one yearns.

So, let these words be a solemn ode,
To those who bear a heavy load.
May solace find its way to you,
And may your spirit find life anew.
