Words
Words
Some words cut deeper cause they’re from people we love
Some words you can’t take back so be careful with the tongue
As soon as they fall from your lips
You know that you should’ve never said them
Words like love and like are used and abused
Said so much to the point that it’s no longer new
Scars remind us that we’re mortal
Words that are said unlock past pains from different portals
Every word comes at at a price and some show our morals
Words are used to describe, manipulate and affirm
They affect us in different ways
Some things come from a place of darkness and shoots out like venom
Words are used in most cases to cause pain
Truth is, words are used to form sentences
What we say to ourselves and others is the thing that keeps us locked up in a prison
Most words are carefully thought out and understood
Oftentimes what’s being said comes from a voice that speaks in a way that most people overlook
We find ourselves saying and speaking these things because they fall so easily off the tongue
We use words to express emotions, feelings and thoughts
It’s important to understand that every word has a price and sometimes a hard cost
God used words to create things on the planet
It’s important to be careful about what we say
Cause once words are spoken, they can’t be unsaid
Some words are like bullets aimed at the chest
Words are spoken with good and evil intent
It’s not about what is spoken, sometimes it’s about what didn’t
Sometimes it’s better to say nothing than anything at all
Silence speaks volumes than most words ever could
Words hurt, cause us to change, and motivate us to become stronger
Words cause fear, doubt and worry which leads to divide and conquer
What we say to ourselves and each other are some things that cannot be forgotten or forgiven
Words crash into us like a brick wall in collision
What’s minor to you is major to somebody else
When you say something hurtful, you don’t understand the scars being left
Words damage and hurt people hurt people
To cover up the wounds that was inflicted upon them, they cause others to bleed too
