Poem to Heaven

I've lost myself this I know is true.
I've lost my way mourning you.
Day after day  time passes by.
Holding back my tears knowing I want to cry.
Waves of emotions feelings of my heart.
Your passing has torn it all apart.
So many pieces, so many cracks.
My will to push forward slightly lacks.
Life has been rough knowing you won't be back.
Trying to mend the broken peices and heal.
The emptiness and pain are all to real.
To love and have lost is better than not loving at all.
The season are changing summer, spring and fall.
Winters here, I'm glad we met with no regret through the good and the bad.
Your memory held close to my heart, the good times we had.
Finding myself praying to never get lost again.
Till that day, I wait,  I love, and pretend.
