Breakthrough

Burn within me you melt my heart,
Even through my dark days you’ve never been too far,
Gave me a hand to hold when everyone laughed,
Intertwined as one; now look where we are

I’ve been seeking this feeling for so long
Everything else has always felt wrong
Feeling true to where I came from
My remedy was melody and song

Broke through- like glass I fell apart I was in pieces,
Transparent and sharp for you,
You; you took the negative and released it
You are my breakthrough
