Hyena

(hahy-ee-nuh)
noun.
1. Canine replica who cackles and mocks. My what large teeth you have. The better to pierce with carnivorous appetite. Flirting with the enemy to finally deflower spitting out weeds.
2. She vocalizes pain with vibrations of her throat. Upturned lips and eyes that crease. Knockoff happiness coating anguish she laughs and laughs in the light such a bitter aftertaste.
3. Alpha of its pack. Chest out as evidence. Marking territory with cologne of amber and musk. Nostrils rage as scents brings her back. Yes he dominated laughing over her shriveled up body.

I really loved the structure to this as a dictionary entry. Poetry that plays with form and structure always catches my eye. Thank you for sharing this piece!
