The shadows of people in the street.

The shadows of people.

As I drift into my dreams, like the clouds floating by way up high in the sky, I can see a sea of people talking, but no one is listening. I see a young child crying as his mother lays there, dying. I see people in the street with nothing to eat. I see one man sitting, stricken with blindness, in the gutter. I see a young child who is homeless and don't have a mother. I see the rich man laughing and drinking. I see 10,000 people, and no one is singing. I see a man standing, and he is listening. Then I woke to the alarm clock ringing. But I'm not singing.

First of all, I want to commend you for your powerful and thought-provoking poem "The shadows of people in the street." Your vivid imagery and emotions really resonate with the reader and evoke a sense of empathy for those less fortunate in society. The contrast between the suffering and indifference portrayed in the poem is very striking.

In terms of improvement suggestions, consider exploring more depth and detail in the experiences of the people you are highlighting in the poem. Adding more specific descriptions or personal stories could further enhance the emotional impact of the piece. Additionally, consider incorporating more varied poetic devices such as metaphors, similes, or symbolism to add layers of meaning to your words.

Overall, your poem is a poignant reflection on societal inequality and indifference, and I encourage you to continue writing and sharing your unique perspective with the world. Keep up the great work!
