On Horses Carrying Lit Torches

No laws man-made.
Are created flawless.
Nor executed as they are,
Without loopholes or blemish free.
Especially by those,
Wearing black robes to play roles.
To expect them to be wholesome.
Covered from neck to toe,
With a righteousness to have this believed.
Nothing hidden underneath,
Is intended to keep secretly deceived.

Until it comes done to see them leave,
Behind a charading to masquerade...
Unlike the minds they represent.
Full of dishonesty.
And drooling with contempt meant.
Bragging to drag their juvenile misdeeds.
Quick to open their mouths about,
Where they were seen and the time it was.
Throwing sticks and stones.
Chasing innocent victims.
Forced out of the comfort of their homes.

While riding on the backs of horses.
Carrying lit torches.
Caught and claiming,
They sought to seek...
A clear and open field that would allow,
Them to only play baseball.
After midnight to light up a darkened field.

'Anything else?'

'No, Your Honor.
We thought to believe,
The people who ran away.
Would at least stay to enjoy the game.
Before they left to witness who won.'

'So...
You calling them vicious,
And vindictive names.
Had been for them a misunderstanding?'

'Yes, Your Honor.
And...
Because the night had been dark as it was.
Our enthusiasm set fire to their homes.'

'Is that all this is?
A mistake made to take too seriously?'

'Yes, Your Honor.
That's all.
And our apologies to make them.
Have gone to be disbelieved!'

'This case is dismiss.
Since proof and its evidence,
Are no more than allegations.
Because the uniforms chosen to wear.
Frightened to scare the people running.
Unaware y'all were actually,
Fun loving baseball players.
I see no reason,
To continue this case.
With many misunderstanding,
That baseball has become,
Such a national addiction!
These days to replace intentional hatred!'

'And...
Your Honor, Sir?'

'Yes.'

'We promise to do our very best.
To rebuild their faith and trust in us!'

'You mean...
Rebuilding their faith and trust in YOU!?'

'Oh, yeah.
And that too we will make efforts to do!'

I’ve got peaceful breezy feeling…I hope the Eagles don’t get mad, and I don’t mean the Mission nor Van Horrn eagles…lol

I can picture the whole baseball team now…All dressed in white wearing their pointy white baseball caps that conceal their identities…For the sake of baseball and their burning of the cross instead of the national anthem before each of their games…
