BEAST BURDENS OF LIFE

MR.P The Silent Poet 2001 (MUBENDE)

BEAST BURDENS OF LIFE

From sunset , noon till down, the free bird flew,
But to me , when will my uncage anew,
From nonage till now, I have been encage,
In the beast burdens of life, it raise my new ages,

Who will set me free?,
My feathers was on his knee,
In the bridewell of life, where my heart bleed,
In the quad, with my quill I plead.

Then my troat open to sing,
A slight sharp short metallic sound,
The guard room I live , called clink,
The twinkle and jingle of life, my eyes wink.

My feathers clapped to troll for hope ,
With my beak, to untie the rope,
My wing and feet will set me free,
In the sky as I sing for freedom and flee.
