Wish
Every night, you sleep in my arms
At least, Where my head takes me to.
My arms can't feel your body
Yet my chest hears you breathe;
my lips wish to kiss you like the water that keeps them soaked
As my soul craves to live in your charming eyes.
I wish to hold you to soothe this half-heart inside me
Undoubtedly you're the perfect jigsaw piece for me
You make me whole, you fill up the holes
Of melancholy and unhappiness.
[The two gentle brown full moons you own
Are the lights who can effortlessly gleam my darkest nights
I'd never let the sun dawn again
For your moonlight is all I wish for.
How I get lost in them, Glowing oceans
I am but a fish, but i cannot escape the way i drown deep in them.
They feel like an endless abyss, chasmic yet blissful
Your precious eyes are something I'd gladly die for.]
I wish for your smile to be painted all over my house
So I'd never forget how beautiful your lips dance when you laugh.
You're the only—i'd keep like a pearl in my shell,
Because everything else would lack the grace of a jewel.
The moon, The sky, the clouds, the stars
They all kneel before how you can shine in my heart.
I protect what is most precious to me
The way I am the shining knight murdering monsters for thee.
About this poem
Some have so much to love, and so much to give; yet maybe unworthy of it. Yet they cannot stop the butterflies from dancing and see the beauty of a thousand stars revealed in one's eyes.
