Accepting thyself

I've made mistakes,
Promises in joy I knew I'd break,
Agreed to things I never wished,
Sat in rooms where I didn't belong.

But I forgave myself for all of it,
Accepted the past,
 for it can't be changed,
Learned to love myself again.

And one thing I've learned, my friend:
In all you do, forgive yourself,
Embrace who you are,
Don't be so cruel to your own heart.
Always accept thyself,
Learn to love yourself again!!!
