The permanent injury.

The permanent injury.

The bird was hurt
struggling laying on earth.
I picked it up very gently
as it needed a hand of faith.

I took care of it.
Found right wing was injured.
I wrapped the wing with tincher
and the bird, enduring to be cured.

It laid in my fingers like dead.
Then suddenly it moved its wings.
Gaped its beaks slightly
and opened its two eyes.

All at once Its body convulsed.
Tears dropped from eyes.
Then they closed for ever
and I heaved long sighs.

Your poignant words paint a vivid picture of compassion and the cycle of life. The imagery of caring for the injured bird with tenderness and hope, only to witness its final moments, evokes a sense of empathy and the fragile nature of existence. Your storytelling captures the emotions of loss and acceptance, reminding us of the interconnectedness of all living beings.
