CRY FOR MY PEOPLE

CRY FOR MY PEOPLE

Tear at my heart, the deception I see
Thanking the Lord I am made free
Weep for the fate of a world insane
Godliness is a means for financial gain
Proudly they call the Truth, a made up lie
And the Grace of God they constantly deny

I cry God, that my people should turn away
Only simpletons, or fools shall dare to pray
Then dear Lord,I pray, such a fool may be I
That I fall to my knees and lift up my Cry
Father forgive, they know not what the Do
But I wonder sometimes, if that's still true

Your Word is known, Lord, yet they deny
And hunger for the bitter fruit of sin's lie
Weep as the world, whom You have loved so
Turns to You in sin's despair, simply says “no”
Celebrating their sins in blatant open pride
No longer trying to pretend, cover, or hide

I implore my people to turn back, return
Return to Christ, lest this fire truly burn
They will dance with the Devil in the Flame
And turn away from God, reject His Name
On my knees I cry for their repentance
In their mockery I see no acceptance

We hear the sounds of wars aggression
Not for freedom, but greedy possession
Try to speak Truth, they're quick to censor
Tell us to spin the wheel and pick Your gender
All I know it's time to search Heaven's sky
‘Cause Jesus said our Redemption draws nigh

On my knees, I pray for the Lost, and weep
For the pain and despair that people so keep
Trading jewels for rocks, claiming they're rich
But they're living in the Devil's waste ditch
As we see the filth of evil ever quicker spreads
No longer tolerate the Words our Savior says

On my knees I cry, I weep, I beg, and I plead
But they grow more wicked in word and indeed
Yet down this path the wicked eagerly tread
Not knowing that it's a road of the dead
Daily we hear the lies they try to sell us
The world calls us fanatical and zealous

I cry, weep throughout the darkest night
To shine to the World God's pure Light
And I place the Cross ever  before my eyes
God's word to counter all the world's dark lies
On my knees I cry for a world which is so blind
To see The Cross and leave the lies behind
Amen

About this poem

a]1 Oh, that my head were a spring of water and my eyes a fountain of tears! I would weep day and night for the slain of my people. 2 Oh, that I had in the desert a lodging place for travelers, so that I might leave my people and go away from them; for they are all adulterers, a crowd of unfaithful people. 3 “They make ready their tongue like a bow, to shoot lies; it is not by truth that they triumph[b] in the land. They go from one sin to another; they do not acknowledge me,” declares the Lord. Jeremiah 9:1-3

Oh my goodness this is amazing I felt it all as I feel the same.. God is who saved me I know he is real and I pray for all those who know not what to feel. Or what to believe as they've all been deceived in a world where the devil is who they adore. ©. Bj. Thank u so much love it.
