Scarecrow

Squawk of the crow;
Dark clouds spread,
unmade bed,
untidy head.

Dark soul embraces,
soles of shoes,
worn and old,
squawking crow.

Tiredness,
old scarecrow;
Hanging,
tightened chest,
squawks the crow

Wanting of freedom,
broken spirit,
seeking end,
squawk of the crow.

About this poem

This is a poem about me, the scarecrow. Sufferer of depression, trapped in one place, my mind. How I seek freedom to roam free.
