Elegy for Love in a Boat on the Azure Sea

Upon the azure sea our shadows glide,
Beneath the moon's soft gaze, a silver trace,
In whispered tides where fragile hearts abide,
I mourn the love that time cannot replace.

The gentle waves caress our silent pleas,
Their lapping songs now echo with despair;
Each droplet’s kiss recalls sweet memories—
Yet emptiness haunts all that was once there.

For though we sailed through dreams of light and grace,
The tide turned cold as starlit visions fade;
Our laughter lost to echoes of this place,
Where whispers linger and warm promises frayed.

In twilight's grasp we'll cherish what we've known—
A love eternal 'neath the moonlit throne.
