Air and Angels

In the silver hush where whispers dwell,
Air carries secrets only angels tell.
A breath of dawn, a sigh of night,
Once danced with us in sacred light.

Ephemeral veils, on gossamer wings,
They wove through dreams while silence sings.
Now shadows linger where laughter played,
And memories fade like sunlight's cascade.

Oh gentle breeze that kissed our skin,
Embrace the frail echoes deep within;
As angelic voices soften to gray,
We mourn the moments that slipped away.

Fields once alive with melody’s grace,
Hold only stillness in time’s cold embrace—
Yet even sorrow cannot fully bind
The spirit that drifts on currents unlined.

For air is not lost but transformed anew;
In every heartbeat it continues to strew—
Like feathers scattered from skies so vast;
Our tears are beacons for those who’ve passed.

With each fleeting sigh we seek their note:
In spirals of wind their soft prayers float—
So let us remember as dusk turns bright:
Angels are born in the arms of twilight.

Though absence lingers like mist after rain,
Their presence hums on the strands of pain.
Forever they dance in life’s fleeting song—
In air—forbidden yet feeling so strong.

Rest now sweet spirits ’neath heaven’s firm dome;
You soar through our hearts as you journey home.
Together we'll cherish what can never sever:
The love that persists—the air binds forever.
