Bawling Uncontrollably

What do I have if you can't be by my side?
"A life with no love" I answer as I sighed,
Talk about history's worst divide,
Everything I have, to us, I've applied,
Not one true feeling did I ever hide,
You got real feelings that I supplied,
But our two hearts you refuse to collide,
When it's true love you really denied,
And I thought you were down to ride,
Or at least that's what you implied,
But in your mind I no longer reside,
Because you told your heart I died,
You'd know if you swallowed your pride,
That through everything, I really tried,
I just wanted to be your romantic guide,
Showing you, you're the only one I've eyed,
And my love for you will go far and wide,
Till my last breath or till my mind's fried,
If true love and me you can finally decide,
But you said it yourself, "we are not tied",
And with those words to him, you slide,
I just want one day that I haven't cried.
