As Always

In whispered winds, through shadows cast,
We mourn the moments fading fast.
As always, time would softly creep,
A silent thief of dreams we keep.

Beneath the boughs where laughter rang,
Now echoes linger, low and sang—
The stories spun with tender grace,
As always held in that warm space.

Yet sorrow's tide erodes the shore;
Each wave a sigh for what’s no more.
And though our hearts may cry aloud,
Still fondly wrapped in memory's shroud.

Oh fleeting days that slipped away—
As always promises led astray.
In twilight hues where light once danced,
Love’s gentle flame now stands entranced.

So let us gather ‘neath these skies—
Remembering warmth behind our eyes.
Though loss has carved its solemn trace—
As always lives within this place.

For every tear that finds its fall,
As always speaks—we loved it all.
Through echoes soft and whispers deep,
In heart’s embrace is ours to keep.
