Elegy of USA

In whispers lost, the echoes fade,
Beneath the flag that once displayed
The dreams of many, bold and bright,
Now tremble in the waning light.

Where rivers wove their stories deep,
And mountains stood like guards in sleep;
A land where hope took root and soared—
Now mourns the voice no longer roared.

Oh fields of gold and city’s haze,
Your laughter veils cold shadowed days.
What glory masked beneath despair?
For freedom’s song grows faint in air.

The children once with eyes aglow,
Now wander through a world of woe;
They search for truth amidst the lies—
As thunder rolls, a nation cries.

We built our towers upon sand shores,
Yet storms have come to shake our doors;
Divided hearts on fractured ground—
In silence looms what we have found.

Where unity was woven tight—
Fractures split day from night;
Injustice drips from tarnished hands—
With weary souls across these lands.

Oh Liberty! Your torch now dims;
Reflections haunt as courage swims
Through shadows thick where spirits tread—
To honor dreams both dashed and dead.

But let us weep not just for loss —
For seeds are sown at every cross:
From pain can rise a clearer call —
And love reclaim her rightful thrall.

So shed your tears but plant your feet —
Stand firm against this bitter heat:
Together forge anew from strife-
Embrace each life—a vibrant life.

Let history shape our lessons learned,
Uniting fires once brightly burned.
Though muted voices linger still,
Hope rises up—we’ll bend but will.

In memory bound yet forward cast—
We'll weave tomorrows from our past.
An elegy not just of grief—
But birthright claimed—the heart's belief.

So here I stand to pour my soul,
To cradle visions made whole;
For even when shadows draw near,
Resilience lives—in every tear.
