UNKNOWN SEA

This object I hold inside my hand is talking about things I do not understand. Its glow is so damn bright that it's blinding me when all I want to see tonight is some sleep and the mysterious curves of her body. Her riddles and stories give me chills as my eyes close slightly, and I feel the warmth of her breath breathing down my neck.

I travel this blue, deep, unknown sea, hoping to find the memories of who I used to be before I got lost on this path that holds so many waves and forks in the road. All I want is to remember how the story was supposed to be told
this unknown sea is me asking when I'm supposed to laugh and cry, live, and let die

I only sleep in small intervals, enough to dream of my world that no longer exists. When I wake up, I catch myself in the mirror images of who I once was, shaking my fist and reading off a to-do list.

I'm traveling this unknown sea looking for questions and answers from some saints, sinners, and dancers to explain why life is beautiful even inside the rain
