Reject Don’t Bother To Read

Reject Don’t Bother To Read

When a resume responder ends saying
Reject don’t bother to read
You know it’s just a mean spirited tease
A dangling carrot and stick becomes
No carrot just a stick up yours.

A resume is not just a piece of paper
To process with algorithms
Looking only for qualifying words
Seeking the perfect person
All the experience for entry pay.

Resumes are windows to living history
A record of real overcoming
More than a record of working
Getting education and skills
A life being made to achieve something.

Reject don't bother to read says
Too many sent and many more to delete
Efficiency is the excuse not to look
Fifteen seconds is a luxury
A hiring manager fails to spend.

How many seekers find empty tables
No chair for their body to sit upon
No floor space open for their doing work
A life is worthwhile, its worth employing
Providing purpose blesses everyone!
