Be Willing To Bend

You may not be able to right now
But you maybe able to eventually
Motivation to meet the moment
Doesn’t mean desirable results
Will be sure or automatic
You can overcome your doubt
Influence your identity
The one in the mirror
You see you can control
And change yourself
Bending a spoon is impossible
The truth is to bend you
Situations may try to control you
Yet you will be able to master yourself.

Human utility tools aren’t us
Yet we can adapt to a function
Weather is subject to change
Getting wet will happen
But see the beauty of the rain
And the shower will be softer
The pillow is cooler
Over on the other side
Turn it as often as you need
Swim to stay afloat
Walk forward to leave behind
Moving ahead isn’t always straight
Be willing to bend
And you will never break.
