Now the Whole World is getting stoned!

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

The autumn rain falls down upon a land
That is dry and parched.
The autumn rain restores the land
Where all the troops had marched.
They came with all their weapons
And their training and their skill.
They came with everything they had;
But only came to kill.
The Lord had other plans for them;
Jesus knew their hearts.
And God put everything in place
Before they got their start.

With some music in the background;
Oh, the thunder was insane!
With lightning bolts and huge hail stones
Our Father brought the rain.
With all His children safe at home.
Who got what they deserved?

In the past the Lord our God laughed;
In fact, He seemed quite delirious
But now in fact He is coming back
And this time He is serious.
