Improvise, Adapt And Overcome
Marines are taught three words
A mantra for survival and success
They break you down to build you up
And train you to be the best.
Darwin said its not the strongest
Or the smartest that survives
It's the one who adapts to change
Symbiotic with other lives.
Teddy said the one in the arena
Dares to do greatly win or lose
Life is not a spectator sport
You live the life you choose.
Defeat and loss are not the end
Only quitting means hope is gone
Improvise, adapt and overcome
Be stubborn, keep fighting on!
