Smoke ( Part 2 )

Smoke, a subtle yet powerful force
Drifting aimlessly, taking its course
A haze that dances in darkened rooms
A misty veil, a shroud of gloom
Rising from embers, with a flickering glow
A serpent of vapor, searching to flow
Whispers of secrets, whispered soft
A mysterious aura, never aloft
Aroma of wood, a scent so pure
A nostalgic fragrance, drawing me near
A campfire, a fireplace, a warm embrace
A flickering flame, a comforting space
But beyond the warmth, a darker side
A treacherous beauty, it slyly hides
A master of deception, a cunning thief
The smoke, a sneaky, alluring belief
In the shadows, it takes on new forms
A twisting serpent, a looming storm
A creature of smoke, untamed and wild
A temptress, alluring, beguiled
It dances in circles, with a seductive grace
Enveloping objects, in its eerie embrace
Cloaking secrets, in a thick gray curtain
A veil of mystery, a shroud uncertain
As it rises higher, it loses its form
A cloud of chaos, a brewing storm
Blurring the lines, between what's real
Whispers of illusions, it begins to reveal
The smoke, a silent storyteller
A messenger of dreams, a beguiling caller
It weaves in and out, of our imagination
A mirage of thoughts, a fleeting sensation
But like all things, it eventually fades
Leaving behind, a haze of charades
A lingering memory, a faint desire
A faint echo, of its burning fire
Smoke, a paradox, a mystery untold
A bewitching beauty, a story to unfold
A dreamy illusion, a haunting truth
A figment of imagination, a fickle youth
So let it drift, let it roam free
The smoke, a symbol of what could be
A whisper of memories, a hint of the past
A fragile moment, that's meant to last.
