Us And Them ( Part 2 )

Us and Them
Us and Them, two worlds collide,
An endless battle, a constant ride.
Different paths, we walk alone,
But somehow our fates have been sewn.
With boundaries set, we each reside,
On opposite sides, with nothing to hide.
But deep within, we feel the tug,
For something more, something to hug.
We see each other, but do not see,
The pain and hurt, the struggles we be.
We label and judge, without a thought,
Never realizing the damage we've wrought.
Us and Them, we live our lives,
In a world where hate often thrives.
We build walls, to keep us apart,
But they only serve to harden our heart.
We forget that we are all the same,
With hopes and dreams, and fears to tame.
We crave love and acceptance too,
But these are lost, in the battle we pursue.
We fight for power, for wealth and fame,
But in the end, it's all just a game.
For when we die, what will remain?
Just empty titles, and a world in pain.
Us and Them, we are not so different,
Underneath it all, we share the same sentiment.
We laugh and cry, we love and hurt,
But somehow these connections we avert.
We build our castles, high and tall,
To protect us from the other's call.
But within these walls, we are trapped,
Our souls imprisoned, our hearts tapped.
We forget that we are all human,
We forget to see the pain and ruin.
We forget that we are all one,
United by the same thread, until life is done.
Us and Them, we are but a speck,
In the vast universe, so small and fleck.
Why do we waste our precious time,
In a battle that has no reason or rhyme?
We must break down the barriers we've made,
And see each other with eyes unafraid.
We must let go of the fear and hate,
And learn to embrace, before it's too late.
Us and Them, let us unite,
And break the chains, that hold us tight.
For in each other, we will find,
A missing piece, of our own design.
We are not enemies, but brothers and sisters,
We must learn to love, before it withers.
Let us step out of our comfort zone,
And create a world, where we all belong.
Us and Them, let our hearts connect,
And let love and acceptance be our project.
Let us stand together, hand in hand,
And build a future, that is truly grand.
For in the end, when all is said and done,
We will realize, that we are one.
No longer divided, by lines we drew,
But united as humans, me and you.
So let us break down the walls,
And answer love's call.
For in a world of Us and Them,
We must learn to see, that we are all just humans.
