Element Of Surprise

The element of surprise, oh how it thrills
A sensation that both excites and chills
It lingers in the air, waiting to strike
Like a bolt of lightning, so sudden and alike
It sneaks up on us, catching us off guard
A sudden twist, in life's playing card
It's a moment that takes our breath away
A jolt of wonder in our mundane day
It can come in various forms, you see
A surprise party, for a birthday plea
Or a long-awaited promotion at work
The element of surprise, never a quirk
It can be a small gesture, a simple deed
A bouquet of flowers, a friend in need
Or a random act of kindness, from a stranger
The element of surprise, a beautiful changer
Even nature has its ways to surprise
With a sudden rainbow appearing in the skies
Or a blooming flower, in a barren land
The element of surprise, a creation so grand
In love, it's a spark, a sudden flame
A confession of feelings, without any shame
Or a proposal, on a moonlit night
The element of surprise, in love's delight
It's a child's laughter, a moment of joy
A new experience, like a new toy
Or a long-lost friend, knocking on our door
The element of surprise, leaving us wanting more
In art, it's a twist of creativity
A masterpiece, born out of spontaneity
Or a melody, that captures our soul
The element of surprise, making us whole
It can be nerve-wracking, a cause of fear
A sudden fright, that brings out a tear
Or a shocking news, that hits us hard
The element of surprise, leaving us scarred
But even in darkness, it can bring light
A glimmer of hope, shining so bright
A sudden realization, in a moment of despair
The element of surprise, showing us we can repair
It's an element that keeps life exciting
A little spice, in our everyday writing
It adds flavor, to our mundane routine
The element of surprise, a magic that gleams
So let's embrace it, in all its surprise
For it's a blessing, in disguise
The unexpected, bringing a smile
The element of surprise, making life worthwhile.
