Unwanted Touch

_Unwanted Touch_

A shadow looms, a presence near,
A hand extends, with intent unclear.
A touch that violates, a boundary crossed,
A soul defiled, a heart forever lost.

The prints remain, like branded skin,
A constant reminder, of the pain within.
A burning sensation, that won't subside,
A memory etched, forever to reside.

"Don't speak a word," a menacing tone,
A threat that silences, and makes her alone.
Fear grips tight, like a suffocating hold,
A weight that crushes, her heart and soul.

She struggles to breathe, to find her voice,
To shake off the shame, and make a choice.
But the weight of secrets, presses down,
A burden heavy, that's hard to drown.

Her eyes once bright, now dim with tears,
A light extinguished, through all her fears.
Her smile faded, her laughter rare,
A joy lost, beyond repair.

Her body trembles, her heart does too,
A constant reminder, of what he'd do.
The touch that lingered, the words that scarred,
A wound that gapes, forever to mar.

But still she rises, with every fall,
A resilience born, from the pain's great wall.
She finds her strength, in the darkest night,
A voice that whispers, "You will be alright."

She breaks the silence, with a courageous cry,
A call for help, that reaches the sky.
And though the scars remain, the pain subsides,
A healing begins, with every step she takes.
