Alcohol brings people together
Companionship laughter and friendship.
Alcohol destroys lives
Bringing sorrow lies and tears.
Alcohol is used for celebrations
Happy joyful occasions.
Alcohol tears families apart
Heartbreak loneliness and anger.
Alcohol numbs life's pain
For a brief moment all seems well.
Alcohol ends in tragedy in a blink of an eye
Accidents, pain and death.
Alcohol is a double edge sword
Taking celebrations and turning them into complete despair
