Unshakable

When my soul is burdened by difficulties, when adversity hits and problems arise, when people who say they care want for payment, when the loud voice of the world tries to control me,

Help that appears to be helpful is frequently a masquerade; everything that is freely given has a hidden cost displayed, and sweetly murmured words are frequently lies I've made. I rarely believe what is freely promised; it's rarely stayed.

I declare, "I will not give in.". I will not compromise my principles for a short-term win. I have my God, my faith, my heart, my everything within. I will rise above my wild spirit to begin.
