you know loneliness when face it
you know pain - when your chest
burning trapped from all the laces
that has grew rust from tightness

you trained yourself to be alone
convinced it never scares you
but suddenly you feel a tear
stream down your most nonchalant face

you try to make yourself feel right
you fill the void with countless methods
but how ridiculous it looks
to put a patch on open wound

and you write poems on and on
you lock them down feeling all doomed
it eases pain once seen on paper
but none of walls could stop the surfs
