Shifting Skies, Shifting Life

Shifting Skies, Shifting Life
1

The sun rose bright, warming the day,

A promise of hope, lighting the way.

But soon, the skies grew heavy and gray,

And the storm came rolling, pushing the calm away.

Raindrops fell, soft at first, then strong,

The thunder’s voice, a powerful song.

Yet the sun was still there, hidden behind,

Waiting its turn, patient, kind.

The storm may roar, the clouds may cry,

But the sun will return, shining in the sky.

In life, we face both the calm and the storm,

Moments of warmth and nights that feel worn.

When the rain is heavy and thunder loud,

Remember, the sun still rests behind the cloud.

No storm lasts forever, no darkness too long,

Even in struggle, we remain strong.

So when the skies shift, don’t lose your way,

Embrace the rain and the thunder that play.

For after the storm, the sun will shine bright,

Reminding us all—there’s always light
