Companionship
(continued from forlorn, so u must read FORLORN first)
My soul was departing,
I'd lost all heat,
Death placed its icy hands on me,
I had cold hands, ears and feet.
Everything to me was numb,
I knew I was finally dead,
But who knew my life had just begun,
I felt a paranormal warmth in my head.
"Now no more sufferings for you,
I'm always there I promise.
I know we can make through,
and life will be better I promise."
My body was wet,
Yeah! I was gaining heat.
I felt loving warmth inside,
My ears cherished that sound so sweet.
My stopped respirations,
I felt had STARTED,
I was taking short breaths,
I was glad I wasn't departed.
Unlike previous breaths,
I was breathing fresh air.
That poison in it was over,
I constantly tasted beauty through air.
My eyes were still closed,
But I felt every euphoric mood,
My feet became warmer,
and finally my life was becoming good
There was silence again,
But I loved it this time.
This silence did not have pain,
It was bringing back my good time.
In that sound of silence,
Suddenly I heard something,
was it it a thump,
or did i hear someone sing?
I felt a jerk through my body,
I turned on my back,
I laid calmly on the ground,
And i heard the sound back.
I smiled calmly,
My eyes still shut very neat.
I couldn't believe my senses,
It was the first time I heard my heart beat!
I did not wish to move,
Did not want anything to see,
Just wanted to enjoy every moment,
Scared as I was for a dream it can be
I kept smiling,
Until someone grabbed my hand,
Placed it on my chest,
now I felt my heart and not the land.
I felt somebody kiss me,
and made my lips wet,
My emotions became intense,
and I was covered in sweat.
I trusted someone and opened my eyes,
Opened them slowly to see,
And I saw a beautiful girl,
Who became an inseparable part of me.
