I Was The Sunshine

I was the sunshine, warm on your skin.
I was the ocean, I was the wind.
I was the forest, the moon was my twin.
I was the beauty, that starts from within.

You were the one, who practiced dark arts.
You were the cancer, that ate at my heart.
You were the greed, you tore me apart.
You were the problem, right from the start.

I was the bird, I was his song.
I was the lake, I was the swan.
I was the silence, just before dawn.
I was your home, now I am gone.
