Jewels of Vermont

How magical is Vermont in March
The sky like dazzling topaz quartz
Fields of linen freshly starched.

Mists slowly rising from the snow
Spikes of sunlight streaming low
Alighting diamonds with fiery glow.

Surrounded by nature, cast in spell
Breathing in the sight, the smell
A spiritual beauty unparalleled
I do believe, here does God dwell.

How magical is Vermont in June
Emerald carpets dancing to breeze's tune
Dotted with wildflowers amassed in bloom.

Mountains climbing above the clouds
Overseeing clear waters, cascading shrouds
Upon jagged gems with secrets vowed.

Surrounded by nature, cast in spell
Breathing in the sight, the smell
A spiritual beauty unparalleled
I do believe, here does God dwell.
