Lost

I thought her love was real,

since I saw her I wanted to make her mine

I thought we could be together

happy as can be with a brilliant shine

I am the hero that rescued her from the dragon.

Though I knew it may never work

 it's enough to pretend

 while wearing a fake grin

 my heart is unsatisfied

 knowing I lied

telling myself it was going to be okay.

But  watching my tears drop to my feet

while listening to the sound of my heart beat

and trying to remember  "OUR" happy momments

 our perfect times

someone stole her heart before me

I realized...  That she was within my grasps, she was all mine.
