The Storm

Whip-crack lightning, rolls of thunder
Mountain cave: the shelter found
Though the earth may shake asunder
You remain on solid ground

The hurricanes: turmoil swirling
Calm the center in their "eyes"
Raging gales with winds unfurling
Focused thought will stabilize

Surface waves of grand commotion
Tranquillity just below
Violent storms upon the ocean
Fathoms down you couldn't know
