Unknown

I am captivated by her,
and she doesn't even know;
the depth that she touches,
my spirit, my soul.

Into my life she comes and goes,
never knowing how I feel;
would it change anything,
if my secret were to reveal?

A friend to the end,
so the story goes;
never any more,
no love to send.

So, I lay here and cry,
for the feelings I keep;
to lose even this,
is sorrow to reap.
