My name is obed Daniels
This is about me
I had to learn as an adult
as a child
there were loving parents
Integrity love respect
To be caring
Was what they taught.
Although we weren’t rich
We had plenty
thanks to my father
Who’s pockets were never empty
One day my mother
decided to leave my father
I remember so vividly
When she walked out that door
I couldn’t understand
What was happening
I was playing Atari
Eyes glued to the screen
But my ears listening to them argue
My mother said to me
You don’t have to stay with your daddy
If you want You can bring your Atari
Like if that was a deal breaker
Even though it was something I cared for
It was my sisters and mother whom
Needed me to look after
To be continued
