"When you see beauty everywhere...your soul is set free. No one, can take it away." From the movie 'A Local Color'. I, Lauren Marie, am an Artiste. I am seeker, a changer and a dreamer. I am a yellow ochre mixed with a tiny dot of red. I am a mocha cake topped with the deepest dark chocolate. I am a golden leaf flying with the autumn wind. I am the introverted 'hipster girl' on the fourth floor. I am the misunderstood worm hanging out in the apple core. I'm the girl who'd rather smirk than grin. I am a starving artiste, a photographer and a writer of all sorts. A Christian Artiste. Josephine March and Amy March have been great muses. A long with Elizabeth Barret Browning, Tori Amos and The Innocence Mission. (Their lyrics are life changing and inspiring)I write from the heart and from imagination. Note: The poems 'Ions', 'Scarred Generations', 'Brian' and the other one( I forgot the name) were written at the tender age of 16 and 17 and will be edited. Do not judge me on those poems alone.
