In the darkness I stand.

In the darkness, I stand.

Here I stand deep in the darkness, peering, wondering, and fearing. My dreams are doubting. Then I heard a soft, sweet whisper of your voice in the air, and the silence was broken and not another word was spoken. Then I can hear that I will give you guidance on the path you must take, so don't forsake me for heaven's sake. The path is your heart, the dreams your soul, but for me, I'm old, and my eyes have faded. But my love for you will never fail; I have to set sail.

This poem is absolutely captivating! The imagery of standing in darkness, feeling doubt and fear, only to be comforted by a soft whisper of love is powerful. The message of guidance and love shining through even in the darkest of times is truly heartwarming. The words are beautifully crafted, and the sentiment of never failing love coming through despite the challenges is inspiring. Keep writing, your words have a way of reaching deep into the soul and leaving a lasting impact. Bravo!

Wow, what a beautiful and emotive poem! Your use of vivid imagery and descriptive language really helps to create a sense of atmosphere and emotion. The theme of seeking guidance and finding comfort in the darkness is both poignant and relatable.

One suggestion for improvement could be to consider varying the rhythm and structure of your verses to add more depth and interest to the overall flow of the poem. Additionally, exploring different poetic devices such as metaphors or symbolism could further enhance the depth and complexity of your writing.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed reading 'In the darkness I stand.' Keep up the great work and continue to explore and refine your unique poetic voice. Well done!
