Zeitgeist Spirit

Zoom in now on the nature of the Zeitgeist Spirit, a register of our state of being and our national spirit, individually and collectively; in all spaces of time, in all dimensions, and in all activities of our earthly lives.

Our Zeitgeist Culture: A Folkesgeist Meditation

The past, present and future of our zeitgeist culture is gleaned in our carbon footprints as free-will thinking evolutionary Homo sapiens.

As the world turns, globally and geologically, so does all humanity likewise turn. We live in an...

We Are the Ticktock of the Universe

Consider this, my friend.
Reflect on it with great intention.
Our brain provides images
of what our mind imagines.

Our brain is therefore like a camera
whose lenses are the human eyes;
whose ears provide the audio feed
by which we hear.

Our Indomitable Human Permanence

Thank you Diane, and thank you Heather for your insightful commentary, observing my attempt of an analysis from two perspectives, looking both internally and externally, combining an introverted stance with an extroverted one. The matter is indeed complex particularly when our goal is to discover how much growth and learning, morally, ethically, philosophically, psychologically and spiritually human society is experiencing as it forges economically and scientifically into the future.

Thank you Jerry. Our life’s journey can only hope to find completion when we recognize we must turn inward and embrace our innermost being.

This poem is heart fully dedicated to my darling wife of Rangoon, Burma, whom I met in 1959 when she was an exchange student in Washington, D.C., whom I married in 1962, and who has enormously enriched my life spiritually.
My cup runners over with love.

Ah, what irony! The more man philosophizes concerning his true nature, the more he finds that task more wanting of his true nature.

The psychological walls we all face and must overcome in our own time and space in order for our light to overcome our darkness. Wow! This enchanting poem captures in an intimate way my own poem, “We are the Tic Tock of the Universe.” Thank you.

The movement of a water stream (the waterfall) in consonance with the human soul, which like a forest tree, is divinely nourished by the living water of life. A beautiful poem!
