Analysis of People
We the people of the United States
Need to get along without any hate!
Granted people have done much wrong.
We have heard all your chanting like new a song.
Stop all the killing and useless destructive crimes,
That are causing innocent people their life and last dime.
Have not you fought enough for your cause?
Haven’t you broken enough laws?
From injuring children, old folks too,
Splitting families, all crying boo who.
We cry for all the colors, don’t you see?
Were all coming together like leaves on a tree.
Protest after protest, the seeds of flower, fly.
Seeds of the clashing powers that make our God, cry.
From all races, creeds, colors, young, and old,
Everyone somewhere inside, God, gave a heart of gold.
Yet anger covers all this precious love you want justice for,
Ask Jesus to come into your heart, He will open a new door.
He will show you love, and so much peace.
Can’t all this chaos just cease?
Taking down statues of days gone by,
Is it worth the tear gas in your eye?
How much more does everyone have to endure?
Destroying our history, which has been for sure.
Monuments, statues, street names, and schools,
Why do you have to break so many rules?
What harm have they done to you all?
That you want them all to fall?
They cannot talk or sing,
They have not done anything.
If I were you, instead of all this destruction,
I would surely start some new construction.
Of lives that made your history matter most.
Show it from coast to coast!
No need to erase our history, add new to it.
Show everyone how your lives fit!
Build monuments, statues, name streets and schools,
Be constructive let us all play by the same rules.
Everyone can get along.
Everyone can belong.
Just pull the wool from your eyes,
Open them wide like clouds spreading in the skies.
We are the people of the United States,
Need to get along without any hate!
