Analysis of Always Dreaming While Awake
For so long I walked through
a desolate lifetime without you
heavy was the price to pay,
others closed their eyes for sleep
my eyes closed, only to weep.
Often I would speak to you when
all alone, many would look at me
but never a word was said, Your
eyes would sweetly smile at me,
always we held hands, never saying
goodbye.
Then I wake all by myself, without you once
again, by the lake with touching mist, your
feet won't touch the floor, never do I have a
dream, I see all when awake, close my eyes
and think of you, one day my hand you'll take.
