Goodbye, Snow

Ice cold inside and out
A glitter to the eye
A shiver uncontained
Always coming and going
Taking on many forms
That always seem to melt away
Your angels fade
Your men decay
Are you the devil?
Clever thing to say
I run from you to warm myself
But I came to play about
Now seeing all your crazy charades
The fun has ended
Only left with memories of our cold fights
Though alot of laughter
The frost is what bites
You vanished so quickly
Are you a punishment or a blessing?
I dread to know
Goodbye, Snow

About this poem

I wrote this poem because I had a dream that a voice told me to explain a Snowflake indirectly, and that's poetry. I never been good at poetry at all and i never really been interested in writing poems before I had this dream. So this is the first and best poem I've ever wrote.
