I am just a member...I am not a judge or have anything to do with the administration of this site. I saw your posts and thought you needed guidance...so I've been trying to 'guide' you. And as far as I know...NONE of the information I've given to you is 'false'.

Are you always attacking people who try to help you?! What kind of attitude is this? Your poem didn't make it because you didn't pay the entry fee, and your application for a free submission didn't make it -- I hope that answer your question.

On a more important note, we would like to keep the platform friendly and safe for everyone, and we do not tolerate bullying and harassment -- please make sure to follow these guidelines so we won't have to close your account.

hello...if your poem was 'accepted' after you submitted it, you would have received a message letting you know. If for some reason (and there are a variety of them) your poem was not accepted, your money was/will be returned. Check you emails for a confirmation that your poem was actually accepted. Then check the 'guidelines' to make sure you're following them. Good luck.

That winning poem "No longer yours to keep just" blew my mind. I am surely a toddler in Poetry.

Thank you for the opportunity to read these poems. I can only improve from this exposure.

OMG! Thank you! My poem was meant to pull on the heartstrings, but after reading several other poems that were much more 'accomplished' with layer upon layer of beauty and thought...I didn't think I had a chance. Thank you.

Ever since i submitted my poem into this competition I've been very nervous because this is my first time showing others my poetry other then my close family, friends, and educators but I'm very eager to read everyone's poem especially since I haven't gotten to read others poetry from this date and time and being young and generally new to poetry I'm very excited to experience a competition even if my write can't necessarily compete with everyone else's i will use this experience to learn, grow, and perfect this craft. I wish all of you the best of luck!

I like your attitude! Even those of us who have been writing poetry for many (many :) years can appreciate a great poem when we read it...and maybe even learn a little something about format etc. Best of luck to you too.

This is a first for me. First poetry competition, first time paying a fee to
enter a contest, and first poem I've written since my husband's passing.
Since August of 2020, my poetry was put on hold until I wrote this poem
in his memory, and revisited the nightmare of that day. I hope I laid it all
out there and in a way that he'd be proud. Good luck to everyone!
