Swathed in froth
Of surging glass curls
Sheathing sunlight
Like gold flake
In skirts of chiffon
Effortless and dreamlike
Floating evenly
On the constant
       breeze

A note to my wife. I wrote it on the short flight from DC to NYC at the end of a business trip two weeks ago.
