Wallet

Lost my wallet
Don’t know how
Any thievery I
Disavow.
Busy day and
Lots of stops.
Missed my pocket simply
Dropped?
Stores and restaurant
Went again.
Lost and found
No sorry, Man.

Licence driving
Health card too
Points card drug store
Precious photos
Birth certificate
Bank card boo hoo.

Not to panic.
Once before.
Guy discovered
And what’s more
Phone numbers family
One he called.
Brother Scott just chuckled
Gained possession, sighing.
That’s about all.

About this poem

Have now lost wallet a second time. Going about replacing important plastic, identifications, licences. Sigh, fists clenching.
