WHITE HORSES WHITE LIES

WHITE   HORSES  CRASH  AGAINST   THE   FAR   NEIGHBOURS  WALLS

 CRUMBLING   LIVES IN  FREEFALL

PEELIN  PAINT ON  DISPLAY
EACH  COLOUR  FADING
FRAGMENTS  OF WALLPAPER   HANG  ON  IN
DESPAIR
 ALL IN  NEED   OF   REPAIR

AN  LEAKING   ROOF
 DISCARDED   TILES

AN  OVERFLOWING   BATH
 DRENCHED  COTTON  SHEETS
THE  STENCH  OF   A   RECENTLY  DECEASED   BODY

COLD  ICE   WATER  IN  THE   FRIDE
 AN  BOTTLE  OF   UNOPENED   TEQUILA
 SEVERAL  EMPTY  BEER   CANS

A  MATTRESS  IN  THE   LIVING  ROOM
INFESTED   WITH STALE   URINE

A    SILHOUETTE SLEEPS  WITHOUT    A SOUND
BREATHING  DEEPLY

THE   RICH  VELVET  CURTAINS   ARE   HALF   DRAWN

OUTSIDE   A  VEIL OF  MIST
SHARDS  OF YELLOW   SUNLIGHT
THE  MORNING   IS   FRESH

THE  STREETS   ARE  SLOWLY   GATHERING
AN HANDFUL  OF   PEDESTRIANS ARE  WAITING  FOR   A   BUS

IN  THE  APPARTMENT   OPPOSITE
A     YOUNG  GIRL    IS   DEPARTING
NO  LONGER  IN  LOVE  WITH   HER   ART

FORCED  AGAINST  HER  WILL

A   LETTER     WRITTEN     BY   HER
TELLS   HER   PARENTS  SHES  BEEN  PROMOTED
AN  ASSIGNMENT  ON  THE  OTHER SIDE  OF   THE   WORLD
NOT   TO  WORRY   ALL  IS   WELL

A FOND  FAREWELL
WRITE  SOON

A NEW  LIFE  ON  THE   HORIZON
