For I love

I can say the world is lush, for I love,
while my hands sow fruits free yet to reap,
shines at my empty breast light from above
separating the darkness in its deep.

Close on the horizon appears dry land
after so many cold nights drifting thin,
famished, led to verdant fields near the strand,
welcomed by a maiden's bright semblance and grin.

To have every star lit in the sky,
broad hearts like the soil into gardens grow,
naked and unashamed our bodies lie
with heat from this embrace expanding glow.

Open we then wither to dust and bone,
each charmed by what is it that has been done.

Beautiful, classic, Shakespearean poetry here for all to marvel at. It's sad that more people aren't cultured enough to engage in art like this but would rather rot their eyes in front of cell phones and other wasteful habits. Your work deserves to be seen.

The thing here is the world seen through the eyes of one who is in love.
The rhyme-scheme is not bad and the content of the poem has poetic merit.
