A battle within…

Each day that passes, a new fear is unleashed
Filled with doubt and desperation
Not knowing what comes next or what could be. The fear of the separation, needing meditation. The peace, the calm, the quiet.
My heart, my head, my anxiety and depression. My emotions are in such a riot.
Some days are so simple, smiles & laughter
Then it hits like a brick wall, sadness, tears
Afraid for what could be the next chapter.
I fight with myself, my insecurities & doubts
Always unsure of what comes next,
How do I get what I feel out, thoughts unspoken, feelings of expression. I’m scared to let anyone in, I’m terrified of the reactions.
The feeling of being weak, the feeling of being broken but the pieces being invisible, the words and not being able to speak. Who will understand? Will anyone listen? On the outside I’m happy, inside I’m broken. This is a battle I fight within, daily I make others happy so I lose and they can win.
